A new Bexleyheath property development will create more than 130 new jobs and boost the local economy, the developer has claimed.

Skillcrown Homes’ development in Albion Road features a 92 room Premier Inn hotel, an adjoining pub, 43 flats, three commercial units and underground parking for 75 cars. It has received funding from Natwest bank.

The £10million development, due for completion in March 2015, will create 130 jobs across the build itself, hotel staff and staff for the commercial units.

The hotel, which will be leased by Premier Inn, expects its guests will generate £1million of business in the area.

All 43 flats have been sold to Hyde Housing Association and will be made available through a shared ownership scheme.

Corrado Vulpio, from Natwest, said: “This development will give the community a real boost. Being a local company, Skillcrown Homes has the local residents’ interest at heart – I’m really looking forward to seeing the development come to fruition in my local area.”
