Brand is back with shop at the Broadway Shopping Centre
A value clothing chain is returning to Bexleyheath bringing 11 new jobs to the area.
Peacocks, which has been reborn as part of the Edinburgh Woollen Mill group, used to have a store in the Broadway Square before the firm went into administration in 2012.
It is now back and will open its new store at the Broadway Shopping Centre in early July with vacancies for three full-time and eight part-time staff.
Filling a 5,300 square foot unit, this will be a welcome return for Peacocks, who previously held a unit in the Broadway Square before the firm went into administration in 2012.
A Peacocks spokesperson said: “We are really excited to be opening our new store in the Broadway Shopping Centre and expect the shoppers there will be happy to see what we can offer them in terms of real value but without compromising on fashion and style.”
Peacocks was established as a penny bazaar in Warrington selling anything and everything in 1884 by Albert Peacock.
