New Crayford library on verge of opening

PUBLISHED: 14:39 02 November 2012

Crayford’s new library will open its doors on November 17.

It is part of a new housing development behind Crayford Town Hall and includes a designated study area, a separate area for children’s books and computers and an IT suite.

The former Crayford Library will close from Monday.

Cllr Don Massey said: “The new building with its fantastic new facilities is a real asset to our existing library services and fits perfectly into the regeneration of Crayford.

“I am looking forward to seeing the library in full use!”
