THE Deep South is coming to a corner of south-east London.

The free New Orleans festival will come to the O2 in Greenwich, on Friday, October 24, from 5pm until 11pm and continue the next day from 3pm until 11pm.

The music will be provided by two of New Orleans most famous musical sons, Dr John and Allen Toussaint.

Cajun and Creole cuisine will be served whilst visitors listen to some jazz and the Mardi Gras Indians.

Cookery demonstrations and free samples will show festival goers how to use the vital ingredient to the region's food - tobasco.
