NHS workers have developed a forum to express themselves without fear of recrimination.

NHS workers have developed a forum to express themselves without fear of recrimination.

The first independent online healthcare site - NHS247.com - has been designed by healthcare professionals exclusively for NHS personnel.

It provides a voice where staff are able to use blogs, surveys and suggestions to interact, discuss and review the NHS without fear of reprisals.

The website is for the purpose of celebrating the staff and a chance for them to network. There are regular news updates, staff discounts from across the UK as well as competitions.

It has collaborated with The Dorchester for its Employee of the Month competition in September.

The prize is a two night stay in London's Dorchester (breakfast included) as well as dinner at either The Grill at The Dorchester or the two Michelin star restaurant Alain Ducasse. The winner will also win two tickets to Madame Tussauds. The competition is live at www.nhs247.com/employeemonth/.
