A FATHER-of-seven accused of being the 'nightstalker' is due to appear in court charged with the rape of several elderly women.

Delroy Grant, 52, of Brockley Mews, is due to appear at the Inner London Crown Court, on Friday, April 30, accused of being the elusive night stalker, who preyed on pensioners across south east London.

Attacks were carried out at addresses in Surrey, Beckenham, Orpington, West Wickham, Bickley, Downham, Shirley, Shortlands and Sidcup.

Grant is also charged with ten burglaries and one burglary with intent to rape.

Police teams launched a massive hunt for the night stalker, under the name operation Minstead after more than 100 burglaries and sexual offences across south east London.
