THE trial of two men accused over the murder of a mechanic shot in the head has been delayed until the summer.
John Seton, 24, of no fixed abode is accused of killing 29-year-old Jon Bartlett on March 31 last year.
The victim died from a single wound to the head in School Road, Chislehurst.
Co-defendant Lee Osborne, 25, of Duddington Court, Mottingham is accused of assisting an offender in connection with the killing.
They had been due to stand trial at the Old Bailey on April 1 but Judge Stephen Kramer QC agreed to a one week delay.
However, he was told more time was needed so that further work could be done before the case could proceed.
Mr Bartlett, from Mottingham ran a car repair business in Erith.
Osborne and Seton were remanded in custoday.
