Local firms are being encouraged to enter the Bexley Business Awards, with only a few days remaining before the deadline.
Sponsors of this year’s Apprenticeship Employer of the Year category, MiddletonMurray, based in Sidcup, won the Best Medium Sized business category in the 2014 and 2015 awards, getting young people not in education, employment or training into jobs.
Now it is urging fellow businesses to get involved.
Head of marketing and PR Steve Sutherland said: “Business awards can sometimes be overlooked as an important part of a company’s marketing mix - just being shortlisted can improve brand awareness and helps to promote a business to potential new customers.
“99.6% of MiddletonMurray-managed apprentices secure full-time employment upon graduation - what better category for MiddletonMurray to be associated with than Apprenticeship Employer of the Year.”
Entries must be submitted at www.bexleyawards.co.uk before Friday, February 12 and winners will be presented at a black-tie event at the Bexleyheath Marriott Hotel on June 9.
