Operation Big Wing sees borough officers joined by specialist colleagues to carry out arrests, search warrants and licensing enforcement among other things.

Officers will also be conducting street briefings and police surgeries across the capital’s boroughs to inform and engage the public on what is being done to tackle crime and disorder.

Bexley police are also giving free purse bells to deter pickpockets.
