Bexley’s Volunteer Police Cadets have triumphed in the annual pan-London Police Cadet Paintballing competition.

In a closely fought contest at Bullswood in Surrey the cadets claimed the championship when they were victorious in a final battle with Richmond Borough’s cadets.

Cadet instructor Daniel Williams said: “I am so proud. We have had some good teams in recent years and have come second twice in the last two years, so to finally hold it together and win is just fantastic.

“This was a superb team effort. Everyone worked so hard and from the outset the spirit and determination to win shone through and I feel justified in saying that it was a well deserved victory for the Bexley Cadets.”
