Television baking star Paul Hollywood brings his first-ever live show to Fairfield Halls in Croydon on May 24 as tries to show the public “the cheekier side” of his persona.
The Great British Bake Off star demonstrates recipes, reveal some of the secrets of being a TV chef and takes the audience on a journey through his life in baking.
The show also includes anecdotes from Hollywood’s time filming The Great British Bake Off, plus Hollywood will be answering questions from the audience.
He said: “The idea of a live show is a bit daunting, but I have done a lot of demonstrations over the years sometimes to an audience of thousands at show likes BBC Good Food, so I have some confidence when it comes to talking to a large audience.”
Hollywood also reveals members of the audience will be invited on stage to get a cookery masterclass.
A new book and a new series to follow Pies and Puds is also in the pipeline for the star, so 2014 is looking like a busy year for the Merseyside-born star.
