A pensioner drug dealer who amassed a £19,000 fortune by selling Viagra and cocaine has been ordered to repay the cash.

When police searched the home of Robert Elvin, 75, from Welling, in April they discovered 5,000 Viagra tablets, 4oz of Cocaine and £15,895 in notes.

He later pleaded guilty to selling both drugs and was jailed for four years in June at Woolwich Crown Court.

At the same court last Friday, he was ordered to repay almost £10,000 in two instalments, the first of which is £6,400, to be paid within a month.

Det Insp Paul Softley said: “The confiscation of the money Elvin made from drug dealing acts as a stark warning to others that you will not keep what you have gained and we will pursue you to remove cash and other assets connected with your criminal activity.”
