Bexleyheath Photographic Society are showing off their snapping skills in a month-long exhibition at Bexleyheath Library this month.

The photos include anything from an owl and a convict to a holy man in Katmandu, Nepal, and it opened last on Monday

The society has been running since 1925 and has around 50 members. They meet every Monday night at Old Dartfordians Rugby Club in Bourne Road, Bexley, close to the A2 Black Prince interchange, at 7.45pm and they are always looking for new blood.

Chairperson Val Allen said: “The exhibition is intended to show members of the public what we’re all about.

“We’re always looking for new members if anyone is interested in joining.”

The exhibition is being held until October 15 and will follow the library’s opening time.

Visit arena.yourlondonlibrary.net/web/bexley/home for specific times.

If you are interested in joining the society, call Stan Spurling on 0208 850 2521 or email apollocolours@compuserve.com.
