Police appeal for information after sexual harassment cases in Bexley

The incidents took place between 7.30pm and 11pm

Police have launched an appeal for information following 13 instances of sexually explicit harassment in Bexley and Greenwich.

During the incidents, a man in a car approached lone women who were out walking. He started a conversation with the women by asking for directions before making sexually explicit comments, and, on a number of occasions, demanding sex and exposing his genitals.

The suspect has been described as a white man, of slim build with short mousey/blonde hair.

A man has been charged in connection with 13 incidents, all of which took place between the times of 7.30pm and 11pm

Anyone who has been subject to similar behaviour is asked to contact Bexley Police on 020 8284 9354 and quote ‘Operation Bort’.
