Police appeal for missing Bexley teenager

Teenager Melissa Attard has gone missing in Bexleyheath, sparking a police appeal.

She has not been seen since being dropped off in the Broadway yesterday afternoon. The 14-year-old was due to meet her mother at Lewisham station at 9pm but did not turn up.

Melissa has gone missing before and is known to spend time in various boroughs including Southwark, Lewisham, Lambeth and Islington.

She is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall with long dark brown hair.

The youngster was last seen wearing a black long sleeve top, a tan bodywarmer, black leggings and knee-high boots. She was also carrying a black clutch bag.

Anyone with information should call the police on 101 or the Missing Persons Unit on 0208 284 9111.
