Police say they are growing “increasingly concerned” for the wellbeing of a teenager who went missing over the weekend.

Officers believe Charles Iwuji, 13, from Abbey Wood, was in Woolwich town centre at around 9pm on Saturday, June 24, but since then they are unable to track down where he may have gone.

The youngster is known to have links to Thamesmead and Woolwich.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Charles is described as black, 5ft tall, of slim build with short black hair.

“When last seen, he was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans and white Nike Huarache trainers.

“Officers would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police at Greenwich via 101 or Missing People on 116000.”
