The Metropolitan Police is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to the arrest of Charles (Charlie) Riddington who is wanted in connection with the murder of George Barker in Bexley.

George Barker, 24, from South Darenth, was fatally stabbed at a gym in Stable Lane on Monday, November 14 2016.

Charles Riddington is also known to use the alias ‘Barry Ryan’.

An investigation, led by Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith, is underway.

Officers know that Riddington left the UK from Manchester Airport for Dusseldorf travelling under his alias, but he may have returned to the UK.

Anyone who has any information concerning the murder, or Riddington’s whereabouts, should call the incident room on 020 8345 3985. Information can also be tweeted to @MetCC.
