Students from Cleeve Park School win through

Pupils from a school in Sidcup have made it to the final of the London Youth Games.

The students from Cleeve Park School won through at the boccia competition last Thursday at the University of East London, Sports Dock, and have now reached the finals, which will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at Crystal Palace.

This is the third time Bexley’s boccia team has qualified for the finals. In 2013 they came away with bronze and in 2014 they won silver.

Days Lane Primary School have also been crowned tag rugby champions in the School Games Competitions after beating St Stephen’s School from Richmond 7-4.

Deputy head Ray Lang said: “I’m absolutely elated. They’re a wonderful competitive bunch.”
