Children were given the chance to learn about where the food they eat comes from when they took part in a Farm to Fork trail last week.

Sidcup Tesco hosted the event, which was attended by children from Baldwin Park Beavers.

They were taken to the bakery where they had the chance to bake some bread and learn more about the baking process, as well as being taken to the freezers where they learned about different temperatures.

The trip was part of the Tesco Eat Happy Project, a new programme which aims to improve children’s relationships with food.
