Rabbit and pair of guinea pigs need a home

PUBLISHED: 09:35 12 January 2012

This week our Help a Pet appeal is looking for new homes for a pretty rabbit and a pair of guinea pigs.

Millie is a very young rabbit, although her age is yet to be determined, she is thought to be about four-months-old. Millie, who loves to lick everyone she comes into contact with, has been getting a lot of attention from her foster carer Julie Baxter.

Ms Baxter said: “Millie, who is very pretty, needs a home with a companion, preferably a gentle natured, neutered, male rabbit.

“Potential adopters should bear in mind that Millie will have to be neutered as soon as she is old enough.”

The guinea pigs who need a home together are Nuzzle and Scratch, a 24-month-old mum and her 12-month-old daughter.

Their fosterer Teresa Bloomfield said: “Nuzzle and Scratch are two of seven guinea pigs who were recently rescued. They are both lovely natured and will make lovely pets for someone.”

If you can offer a home to Millie, call Julie on 07958 031884.

To offer a home to Nuzzle and Scratch, call Teresa on 01634 271456.

To see all of the animals currently in the care of Anim-Mates visit

Anim-Mates is an animal rescue group, based in north-west Kent and south-east London, which rescues and cares for animals while trying to rehome them.

All the animals are cared for in the homes of fosterers who treat them as their own pets until they are re-homed.
