A YOUNG man was stabbed with a twelve-inch kitchen knife after suffering a tirade of racist abuse.

The Iranian victim in his 20s was walking with two friends in Middle Park Avenue, at the junction with Court Road in Eltham, on October 4 when the attack began at about 9pm.

As he walked towards Mottingham station with his friends two white men shouted racist abuse and stabbed him in his left thigh.

Both suspects then ran off in the direction of Middle Park Avenue.

The man who stabbed the victim is white, broadly built, in his late 20s, with shoulder length blonde hair and was maybe wearing a blue sweatshirt. His accomplice is white, in his early 20s, with spiky fair hair, shaved at the back and sides.
