A HERITAGE house had more than 200 visitors on its first open day following a £4.5 million restoration.

The visitors braved the terrible weather last Sunday to get the first glimpse of the newly-restored Danson House in Welling.

New additions to the Grade I listed building include displays in the kitchen and the bedroom.

Now the house will be open every Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday until the end of October.
