THE number of abandoned cars has fallen sharply.

THE number of abandoned cars has fallen sharply.

Cars dumped in Bexley have dropped by 67.5 per cent in the last five years, from 2,391 to 776 last year.

Bexley council claims the downturn is due to their free collection service and the soaring price of scrap metal.
