PIQUANT, one of 250 ornately painted life size elephants placed around the capital, has graced the borough.

PIQUANT, one of 250 ornately painted life size elephants placed around the capital, has graced the borough.

The painted elephant adorned with brightly coloured chilly peppers has been placed at the entrance of Greenwich Market.

The elephant parade is part of the display of painted elephants placed around the city to raise awareness of the endangered Asian elephant.

It will be in Greenwich until June 23.
