Colonel John Blashford-Snell was the guest speaker

Renowned explorer Colonel John Blashford-Snell was the guest speaker at a Bexley school’s awards evenings.

Colonel Blashford-Snell encouraged students of Beths Grammar School to take a year out to see the world and sharpen their language skills, so they can better communicate with people from across the world.

Head teacher of the boys grammar, Dr C Maxim said: “This was a fantastic celebration of the commitment students put into their studies here at Beths.”

Dr Maxim also thanked Colonel Blashford-Snell for visiting the awards ceremony, which saw students from across the school years honoured.
