Half a dozen Thames 21 volunteers braved the cold weather help clean up the River Cray on Monday (10).

Project co-ordinator Michael Heath said: “We achieved out objective, to make the river look more sightly during the festive season, and collected six bags of rubbish. We’ll be back out again in the new year.”
