SEA lovers are invited to a screening of unseen footage depicting people's obsession with the sea in the 20th century. The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, is hosting an evening lecture on May 11, screening highlights from the BBC Four series Sea Fever Season.

The series uses home movies and amateur films from the 1920s onwards, most of which have never before been seen on television.

Booking for the event is essential and there will be an opportunity for questions and conversation with the filmmakers and some of the contributors.

The event is linked to the Boats that Built Britain exhibition that runs alongside the BBC Four series of the same name. Book online at: www.nmm.ac.uk/tickets or phone 020 8312 6608.weeks.
