A VOYEUR and registered sex offender who admitted peeping on a woman through her window has been given a three-month suspended sentence.

Unemployed James Rintoul, 29, of Heron Court, Bromley, was arrested on May 11 after a 24-year-old woman called police when she saw him peering through her window in Walpole Road at around 12.30am. He pleaded guilty to voyeurism at Bromley Magistrates Court on June 19 where he was ordered to undergo mental health treatment for two years and given the two-year suspended sentence.

Rintoul was given a three-year community supervision order and placed on the sex offenders' register for five years by Bexley Magistrates Court in 2007 having been found guilty of a sexual assault on another woman.
