Operators of La Cantina in Sidcup were fined for illegal street trading offences

A Sidcup business has been fined £1,000 over tables and chairs placed on the pavement outside its restaurant.

Aurora Catering Ltd was fined over illegal street trading offences, after placing the tables and chairs on the pavement outside La Cantina without a street trading license.

The company was fined on October 26.

Two offences were logged earlier this year on April 1 and April 27

Magistrates heard the company was given opportunity to resolve the issues as far back as 2014.

Aurora Catering Ltd pleaded guilty to both charges and was ordered to pay £500 for each of the two offences.
