Sidcup children learn more about food

PUBLISHED: 07:00 17 June 2014

Children took part in a Farm to Fork Trail on June 16.

Pupils from Hurst Primary School went to Tesco Superstore, Sidcup, to help them learn more about the food they eat.

Farm To Fork is the first initiative of Tesco’s Eat Happy Project, aiming to improve children’s relationship with food.

Sidcup Farm to Fork Trail Leader Sarah Smith, said: “The aim of these trails is to inspire primary school children all over the country to learn more about the food on their plate and you could see that the children today were really excited and enthusiastic.”
