Sidcup Golf Club had cause for celebration when Sidcup Ladies won a prestigious competition.

After previously winning the coveted Kent Pearson Trophy on June 18 at Royal Cinque Ports in Deal, the team then went on to win the Four counties Final at Muswell Hill Golf Club on July 25.

At Royal Cinque Ports Sidcup Ladies beat Nizels Golf Club in the morning and Hever Golf Club in the afternoon, which led to them winning the task of representing Kent against Middlesex, Surrey, and Hertfordshire.

Despite the weather taking a turn for the worse and heavy rain and thunder claps lasting throughout the afternoon, the team were victorious.

They went on to win five matches to two and the huge Silver Salver trophy was proudly taken back to Sidcup Golf Club.
