A 30-year-old mum from Sidcup has decorated the outside of her house in the colours of her beloved Crystal Palace, ahead of the side’s FA Cup final on Saturday.

The Premier League outfit play Manchester United this weekend, in a repeat of the dramatic FA Cup final in 1990.

Together with her eldest son, Owen, Michaela Curtis will be at Wembley Stadium to watch the match.

Mrs Curtis, from Blacken, said: “I was born and raised in Thornton Heath near Selhurst Park with my eldest brother, mother and older generations of the family being supporters of the club.

“I feel we have a great chance of lifting the cup if we play well on the day.

“I’ve decorated the house to show proud I am of the club’s cup run and I hope my children will remember it and speak of it to their own children one day.”

The final kicks off at 5.30pm this Saturday.
