A pair of robbers who grabbed a woman’s gold necklace whilst she was wearing it in broad daylight are being sought by the police.

Despite the victim resisting, the criminals continued until they broke off part of the jewellery during the attack at 10.40am on Wednesday next to a row of shops in St James’s Way, Sidcup.

The two men who were wearing dark clothing and described as being in their 20s, made off in the direction of Ruxley roundabout.

One is estimated to be over six feet in height, with a beard and was wearing a black woollen hat.

The second man is approximately five foot eight inches tall and was wearing a fluffy hat with ear covers.
