Sidcup stabbing wounds allegedly self-inflicted, as police say incident is ‘not suspicious’

A man airlifted to hospital in Sidcup yesterday afternoon is thought to have stabbed himself.

Police were called to the scene, outside Sidcup Library, in Hadlow Road, at around 3.10pm to reports of a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim, thought to be in his 20s, was taken to an east London hospital.

Police are not seeking anyone in connection with the incident, and are not treating his injuries as suspicious.
