35 members of 2nd Erith Nathoo Cubs and Scouts from Northumberland Heath snuggled up in their sleeping bags at Sea Life London Aquarium at County Hall in Westminster.

They were part of 22,000 children and 8,000 adults across the globe who took part in the Giant Sleepover last Saturday raising more than £50,000 for a variety of children's charities.

The Bexley children were raising money for Demelza House Children's Hospice and McMillan Nurses.

Their group leader Lyn Beeson said: "The kids had a blast. I was not convinced we would be having much sleep but all the activity, fun and excitement wore them out. Not many children get the chance to sleep among fish and I was thrilled that they had the opportunity."
