Spooky Halloween fun is set to take place at Erith Riverside Shopping Centre on October 25.
The Halloween fun day will give shoppers the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of creepy crawlies of all shapes and sizes. Scorpions, coachroaches and even a Burmese python are set to make an appearance at the shopping centre between 11am and 4pm.
And to ensure that Halloween is frightful for everyone, a selection of spooky craft stalls will be offering everything you need to make Halloween a frightful night.
A free face painter will also make an appearance to turn little shoppers into witches, wizards and mini monsters.
Children will also be invited to take part in a competition called Safe Trick or Treating which involves them hunting for posters in selected shop windows throughout the centre. When they find the poster they simply need to pop in store to receive a delicious free treat.
Barry Owen, centre manager of Erith Riverside Shopping Centre, said: “We held the Creepy Crawlie Roadshow here last year and it was a huge success. I am looking forward to seeing the children, who were often braver than the adults, get up close to these unusual creatures. The free face painter is always very popular and the Safe Trick or Treating is a great option for parents who may worry about their children going trick or treating door to door.”
