Stabbed teenagers face affray charges

TWO teenagers who were stabbed in broad daylight have been remanded in custody.

TWO teenagers who were stabbed in broad daylight have been remanded in custody.

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest and a 17-year-old boy in the face in Combe Avenue, Blackheath, at approximately 3.21pm last Monday.

Police arrested the pair before they were taken to hospital and a knife was found nearby.

The eldest appeared at Camberwell Juvenile Court last Wednesday charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon and will next appear in the same court on February 16.

The younger boy appeared at the same court the day after charged with affray and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon. He is due to appear in court on Friday.

A police spokesperson said they are no longer looking for any more witnesses or suspects in connection with the incident.
