CARERS or parents of children with a disability or long term condition can attend summer support courses.

Greenwich NHS's Expert Patient Programme holds free meetings with other parents at Vanbrugh Health Centre, Greenwich, each Wednesday from June 3 for five weeks.

The course runs from 10.30am to 1pm and covers managing issues like managing tiredness, relaxation, exercise, and dealing with difficult feelings.

Lunch is provided and crèche places are available.

A free carer's course will also be available every Friday from May 22 to June 26.

The course will look at managing tiredness and difficult feelings, healthy eating, relaxation and exercise, communicating with friends, family and professionals and planning for the future.

To book a place, call Vitta Curtis on 020 8312 6070 or email vitta.curtis@greenwich.nhs.uk.
