CHILDREN who helped design their new adventure playground were the first to test out the new equipment last Monday.

CHILDREN who helped design their new adventure playground were the first to test out the new equipment last Monday.

Youngsters at Plumstead Adventure Playground in Blendon Terrace had a go at the new facilities that included obstacle courses and pole swings.

The £120,000 playground which was partly funded by the Big Lottery Fund was designed with help from Plumstead youngsters and took three months to build.
