Bexley's Danson Festival is due to take place on July 4 and 5 and will showcase the latest new talent in the area in front of a crowd of thousands.

The weekend event in the Bexleyheath park will play host to entertainers including singers, dancers and musicians as well as exhibitions, community attractions and activities such as a sports and garden zone.

Last year the festival attracted more than 45,000 people in total.

To get the chance to perform at Bexley's Big Weekend, send examples of your act on DVD or CD to Danson Festival, c/o REM, 59 Prince Street, Bristol, BS1 4QH or email a weblink to louise@rem-events.com.
