TWO passengers charged with assaulting a taxi driver have been sent for trial.

TWO passengers charged with assaulting a taxi driver have been sent for trial.

Unemployed Craig Andrew Fairman, 24, of Riverside Road, Sidcup and plasterer Stephen Seers, 29, of Longmead Drive, Sidcup appeared at Bexley Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with the assault of Mohammed Shah, 43.

Mr Shah was found slumped by his Toyota Avensis minicab on Riverside Road, Sidcup, on Monday, March 3 at 11.55pm.

Mr Shah is in hospital, in a critical condition.

The accused have been sent for trial at Woolwich Crown Court next Monday.
