A TEENAGER had his arm broken and face bruised after he was attacked by a gang of youths near a foot tunnel under the Thames.

The 15-year-old boy was set upon by teenagers aged between 15 and 16, near the tunnel by the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, just before 7pm on November 30.

Police believe the attackers used it to flee after the attack.

Detective Sergeant David Christie said: "The area around the Cutty Sark is really busy, particularly around the time of the attack. I would urge members of the public who saw the attack to contact us as soon as possible."

Anyone with information should call DC William Wixey on 0208 284 9416 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
