Teenage boy released after assault in Bexleyheath puts man in his 20s in hospital

It follows an incident on Saturday night

Police have released a 16-year-old boy without charge after a man was reportedly attack in Bexleyheath at the weekend.

On Saturday, London Ambulance Service paramedics rushed a man in his 20s to a south London hospital after a reported assault in the Broadway at around 9.45pm.

The victim’s injuries are not life threatening.

A spokesperson from Met Police said: “A 16-year-old male was arrested near the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

“He was taken to a south London police station for questioning, he has been released under investigation.”
