Teenager recovering after Erith stabbing

A teenager is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in Erith yesterday afternoon.

The 16-year-old was stabbed in the chest outside Kwik Fit in West Street before being taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police officers cordoned off the Running Horses pub while an investigation was carried out.

Paramedics with the London Air Ambulance treated him at the scene before he was taken to a south London hospital by land ambulance.

Bexley police say he is recovering in hospital after suffering non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
