A TEENAGER who was stabbed in the face has been arrested along with another teenager who was stabbed in the chest.

The 17-year-old boy was arrested at John Roan School in Combe Avenue, Blackheath at 3.21pm on Monday after a 16-year-old was stabbed in the chest on the same road just minutes before.

He was arrested and taken to hospital where he was discharged before being taken into Plumstead police station for questioning.

An air ambulance treated the 16-year-old at the scene, where the police arrested him and found a knife nearby. He was then taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

A fight was believed to have happened in Combe Avenue and a police spokesperson said they are linking the incidents and do not believe anyone else is involved.
