Residents have been complaining of low water pressure

Thames Water have stated they are still working to repair damaged water pipes in Erith.

The issues with water pipes on Fraser Road have been going on for a couple of weeks now, with nearby residents complaining of low water pressure.

A spokesperson for the water utility company, said: “Our work to repair damage caused by a third party on Fraser Road is continuing.

“During this time, we’re working hard to keep as much water as we can, flowing through our network of pipes to keep disruption to your water supply to the absolute minimum.

“It’s likely however that you’ll notice a drop in the water pressure during periods of high demand, such as early evenings and mornings when more people are at home and using water.

“The damaged pipe is five metres below the ground so the repair is a complicatedd job, but we’re working as quickly as we can to get it fixed.”
