Thamesmead assault leads to police appeal

A woman was assaulted and robbed in Thamesmead, sparking a police appeal.

It happened around midnight on Tuesday (5) in the Crossways area.

A woman was travelling on a 177 bus. When she got off she was assaulted and robbed, although she did not get a good description of her attacker.
