Thamesmead man charged with GBH

A Thamesmead man has been charged with GBH after an early morning fight in the area.

Mark Erhijakpor, 39, of Tildeslea Path, appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court yesterday (July 8). He was remanded in custody to stand trial at a later date.

The incident happened in Crowden Way just after 2am on Saturday morning (July 6) and a man in his mid 30s was taken to a south London hospital with life-threatening injuries.

He is now in a stable condition.
