The man charged of murdering disabled Thamesmead resident Colin Greenway has been denied bail.

Daha Mohamed, 51, is accused of slitting the throat of 56-year-old Mr Greenway on June 15 in his Abbotts Close flat.

Mohamed, also of Abbotts Close, was remanded in custody at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (June 19) and will face a preliminary hearing on Monday, July 1 in the same court.

This will be followed by a plea and case management hearing on Wednesday, September 4.
