Thamesmead racist assault draws police appeal

Bexley police are appealing for information into a racist abuse and assault incident in Thamesmead.

It happened last Wednesday (October 31) at 4.45pm between Crossways and Bentham Road.

An Asian man was racially abused and assaulted by a black man who is described as about 6ft tall and of stocky build.

The suspect was wearing a grey woolly hat and he appearing to be drunk.
